Although our shop’s name includes the word “collision”, there’s much more to Commercial Collision Service than just collision repairs. Among other services we provide, we are very well versed and experienced in the world of car restoration.
Car restoration is a very delicate undertaking that requires a significant level of skills, experience and expertise, which is why it is imperative that an expert completes your classic vehicle restoration.
At Commercial Collision Services, we always use the highest quality parts and products on all our repairs and restorations. While there are some “good” reproduction parts on the market, our preference when restoring a vehicle is to use original pieces that are properly restored or new old stock (NOS).
Topping our list of restorations is the milk truck that we restored for former seacoast milkman, Jack Grover. An original truck from Shamrock Dairy (found storing old tires in the back of a tire shop), this 1957 DIVCO milk truck was fully restored to an exact replica of the truck Grover drove when delivering milk to the Portsmouth area years ago for Badger Farm Creameries.
This milk truck is a beauty, and well-worth seeing in person. The truck was on display this past Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Hampstead Commons plaza in celebration of their 5 Year Anniversary.
